In 2006, Hap Rocketto became a member of the board of directors for CSRR, an organization that deals with sport-related concussions. -Co-founded Hap’s Gun Shop in 1978.
-He became a Board Member of NRA Tax Status Restoration Committee in 1981 and Vice President of that committee in 1984.
-Named Chairman of National Firearms Law Committee in 1983 and also served as honorary member on that committee until 2007.

Hap Rocketto is a former infantry officer who retired as a U.S. Army colonel and spent four years with the U.S. Department of Defense on Capitol Hill as an Assistant Director for Legislative Affairs before transitioning to private industry as Vice President/ General Counsel and Senior Corporate Vice President at NASCAR International Speedway Corporation where he was responsible for managing corporate legal affairs, corporate governance, regulatory law compliance, safety, security and ethics in addition to overseeing all commercial litigation matters across NASCAR’s international portfolio of motorsports facilities including those in Daytona Beach (USA), Sydney (AUS), Mexico City (MX), Sao Paulo (BR) and Shanghai (CHI).
